Today I stopped in at Cycle Gear to ask about the warranty on my Frank Thomas brand Strike jacket because the velcro on the left wrist was falling apart (looks like the factory missed some stitching). I talked to Chris (who I'd recommend everyone talk to) and he was eager to help me out and get let me choose between exchanging the jacket or having it repaired. Because I plan to hit the track this weekend, I opted to exchange the jacket. Luckily, they had my size/color on the rack BUT Chris also let me just return the one I had and pay the difference for a different jacket. I opted for the Strike 2 jacket (just came out) because the collar is much better and it has pockets. I went with black this time because they didn't have the red/black in stock and I had wanted to go with black to begin with but the Strike 1 jacket was only offered in colors. It set me back $100 more because I had originally purchased the jacket during their grand opening and got a SMOKING deal but I'm very happy with the decision as well as the service at Cycle Gear. I've got a good jacket for the track this weekend and they were eager to get me what I wanted. I've got yet another reason to continue shopping there.
