  1. Glacier National Park.

With two holes in my back tire and approx. 1300 miles later, me and XLR8 made back home safe.

Glad to hear you both made it back safely. Did you have a tire plug kit with you on the trip?

Beautiful view, too. How about some more details like a map of your trip and an itenerary?

  3. Damn Durka and XLR8! That's awesome. Post up some details.
  4. Here are some pics from the trip.

Directions: By the way I will attach a map in few days.

Glacier to Missoula (from 89 to 200)

  5. I have to say, Durka Turka is quite the stud! All that way on a GSX-R! :dblthumb: I tricked him you see. I talked him into going, and then I showed up on my comfy FJR1300 instead of my gixxer. Hey I'm ten years older.

Yes, I had a Stop & Go tire plugger kit and we patched his tire out in the middle of BFE Montana, in the dark, on a newly chip sealed road with almost no shoulder. On top of that there were freakin deer everywhere, walking across the road, standing by the road, eating, looking at us. It was an awesome time! I think we rolled back into Missoula about 2:30 AM and with no dinner in our bellies we hit the sack and woke up at 6:30AM for the ride home. It doesn't sound like fun but it was.

I also have more pics if you guys want to see. There's some nice roads out there - helluva lot of deer this year though. And I almost pegged a coyote out there. That could have sucked.

  6. Hey -r,
Do you have a picture of a map shows the route. I tried to do it in googlemap but it clips the Glacier.
That coyote was so close to you, it wasn't even funny.
Over all it was the most fun I ever had on my bike. My butt hurts a bit thou...
