purple sage rd? is it paved?

  1. After looking at 3 different maps (google, yahoo--both w/ satellite images and a non-internet atlas) and can not tell if Purple Sage Rd is paved (all the way from Can Ada Rd to Cemetary Rd in Middleton) -- specifically, am looking for back roads from Eagle to Middleton -- I'm not yet ready to ride on the HWY.

I could drive it, but don't want to make the trip twice if I don't have to.

Anyone know that route? A route?

  2. I've only gone as far as the Golf Course,...... Sorry :dunno:

But it is paved at the golf course, and I think for quite a ways after... ;D

  3. unless they are chip sealing , you'll be fine, follow it east past kingsbury take your next left (aprox. 1 mile) then immediate right, you'll still be on p.sage follow it to canada, i mean can-ada :dblthumb:
  4. the road is mostly strait (like Hoz) it'll be good for you moderate turns

  6. i said mostly i meant moistly... typo :neener: :flipa :neener:
  7. so, from Eagle, going west on Beacon Light:

L - N. Wing Rd ('cause Beacon Light ends here)
    R - New Hope Road
    R - Can Ada
    L - Purple Sage
    L - Blessinger
    R - Purple Sage
    L - Cemetery (paved?)

  9. Thanks all for the info -- it ended up being a nice ride -- good route for beginners (or 2nd-time arounders like me.) No traffic in the morning, a couple hills, a couple turns, some changes in road surface, but nothing difficult and no gravel roads.

Purple Sage (from Can Ada) wasn't where I was expecting it, but it wasn't hard to find either.

And apologies for not returning waves -- they didn't teach that in the Star class *wink* ....must keep hands on the grips.... well, ok, so I did wave at an elderly woman walking a dog...was a cute dog.
