MotoGP - Race 2 - Quatar is this weekend, people! Does everyone have their DVR/Tivo set?
I'm pretty excited to see the race. Rossi is starting in 6th place right behind Pedrosa (winner of the Jerez race). With Stoner in pole, Elias in 3rd, Hayden in 4th and Pedrosa in 5th, the young guys are really making a big impression early in the season.

    Damnit!! Hayden was so close!!
Pedrosa was much closer to where I expect him to be throughout the season than he was last week. For a new rider in the GP class, 5th or 6th throughout the season would be quite impressive.

Hopkins sure looked pissed!! I can understand his frustration since they seemed to be having problems all weekend but, its never good for sponsorship (factory team specific) when you stand there and kick your bike before climbing over the wall.

That's was a bit funny watching Hopkins kick his bike. I try and I try to root for the GSR-V but they are always in 9th spot or lower.

With the Kawasaki team grabbing Yamaha's former engine engineer, expect Suzuki to continue lagging behind the other three Japanese companies as well as Ducati. Kenny Roberts is still in their range though ::)

Kenny Roberts in on a Honda.

Not entirely true. He's leasing Honda motors BUT he's still not going to get the stuff they develop mid-season and start putting on their factory bikes. Plus, Roberts is still building the chassis, putting a Ferrari motor in a Kia may improve the speed but its still not gonna handle like a Ferrari. Now I don't think KR is building anything equivalent to Kia but he also doesn't have the money for the engineering staff and manufacturing that Honda does.
