News should be breaking in Japan right now that late yesterday afternoon Nick Hayden signed a contract to re-up with Honda for at least two more years. Hayden had recieved serious offers from both Ducati and Yamaha for his services but chose instead to sign with Honda.

I totally beat you to this in Cider's MotoGP Rumors thread. Thanks for posting it up though.

Honda is gonna be tough again next year with Hayden and Pedrosa both back though I expect Pedrosa to do better next year and bring home the championship.

Tough race for Hayden today. He can't seem to finish on the podium lately and he's in danger of giving up the championship to Rossi.
Next year everybody will be on new 800cc bikes so I think the championship can go to just about anybody. Shoot, even Suzuki may be competitive....ok, maybe I'm just dreaming.
