    Edition Date: 05-24-2006

Boise police continue to investigate this morning a fatal motorcycle accident that happened last night in the Depot Bench neighborhood.

Police responded to a call on Franklin Road near Rose Hill at about 9:40 p.m. Tuesday.

They found a 22-year-old man who had been driving a motorcycle injured at the scene.

Officers say it appears the driver was headed eastbound on Franklin when he lost control of his motorcycle. He reportedly was thrown from the motorcycle, sustaining injuries that led to his death after he was transported to a local hospital.

The man was not wearing a helmet.

The identity of the victim will be released by the Ada County Coroner after notification of the family.
